Elisabeth LedrutSenior Bank Resolution Expert at SRB
Elisabeth Ledrut is a senior resolution policy expert at the Single Resolution Board, the European resolution authority.
Since joining the SRB in 2015, Elisabeth has had a leading role, among others, in defining the SRB policies on critical functions, public interest assessment, access to FMIs, resolvability assessment, as well as on external bail-in execution.
Prior to that, she was the Director in charge of recovery and resolution planning for the Euroclear group. Her career at Euroclear, where she worked from 2007 until 2015, included roles in credit and liquidity risk management and responsibility for monitoring and analysing relevant regulatory developments, as well as setting up and maintaining Euroclear’s yearly Pillar 3 report.
Elisabeth started her career in 2000 as policy advisor in the Payment and Settlement Systems Policy Department at the Dutch central bank (De Nederlandsche Bank) and also worked at the Committee for Payments and Market Infrastructures (2005-2007) at the Bank for International Settlements, among others on New developments in clearing and settlement arrangements for OTC Derivatives.
