Carolyn PorrettaManaging Director at Macquarie Bank
Carolyn Porretta works as Managing Director at Macquarie Bank Commodities and Global Markets division in London. Porretta joined Macquarie to originate and structure asset-back lending transactions.
Previously, she worked as an investor at AIG Asset Management overseeing the management of structured products investments including European Commercial Real Estate debt.
Prior to this, she was an Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank where she held a similar position to today’s.
She started her career at Bank of America’s Securitisation and Principal Finance team and has also held a role at private equity house AnaCap Financial Partners post Global Financial Crisis.
Porretta serves on the board CCHA and CCHA Development Limited, its property development subsidiary and she is a member of the Audit Risk and Investment Committee of Engineering UK. She was listed in the top 10 Financial Times’ Future Female Role Model in 2018.
Carolyn Porretta graduated with a MSc in Applied Mathematics and Computer Finance from Grenoble University in France as well as a MSc in Science of Management from EM Lyon Grande Ecole. She is also an ACCA part-qualified accountant.
