Irene GambelliSenior Advisor - International Relations at SACE
Irene Gambelli is an International Relations specialist at SACE, the Italian Export Credit Agency, looking after company’s relationship with foreign ECAs, MDBs and other international institutions, and representing Italy’s position within the OECD and EU, including negotiations and working groups on policy-related issues and topics that steer export credit business. She has been with SACE since 2006, spending 3 years in the underwriting area and additional 4 years coordinating the business strategy and origination activities of SACE’s overseas network in major emerging and developed economies.
Within the Berne Union, from 2014 to 2016 she assisted former President and Vice President in developing key reforms and initiatives aimed at fostering organisational improvement and visibility worldwide. She has been an active member of Berne Union’s focus group on SMEs from 2014 to 2019 and is currently involved in ongoing initiatives on data and digitalisation.
Before joining SACE, Irene worked 6 years for a business law firm in Rome. She holds a Masters’ degree in Political Sciences from the University of Rome, Italy, and a postgraduate certificate in Advanced Marketing and Business Communication from ISM Rome.
