Ramona Homfeld

Ramona joined KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH on 1 October 2015 as Senior Project Manager Private Risk Insurance. In the CPRI & Portfolio Solutions team she is responsible for insurance placements to support short to long term financings of KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH as well as different kinds of tasks related to this.

She started her career in the banking industry in 1993 with professional training at Landesbank Hessen-Thueringen (Helaba) in Frankfurt before becoming a member of the Export Finance Department of Helaba in 1995 as a specialist for export and project finance transactions.

After four years in this role Ramona joined Commerzbank AG, Frankfurt in 1999. Up to 2008 she was part of the Forfaiting and L/C-Syndication Team of the Structured Export and Trade Finance Department and in 2008 she took over a new position in the Financial Institutions Division of Commerzbank. As Senior Trade Risk Manager of the Trade Risk Distribution team Ramona was responsible for managing the trade finance portfolio by using different kinds of risk mitigation instruments, e.g. risk participations, trade facilitation programs of supranational development banks and insurance cover issued by private insurance companies.
