Tymur Khusainov at Independent Sustainable Investments & Climate Risks Advisor
Tymur Khusainov is management consultant and banker in the Sustainable Finance and Climate Risk segment. He brings 20 years of experience working on investment research, asset management, and corporate banking. He has served as MD at a major European bank, advised a wide range of corporate banks, worked in UBS and a ‘Big 4’ firm, overseen development of financial services policy and regulations for The European Commission. Specifically he works with financial institutions on net-zero strategy, decarbonization approach and climate stress tests. Additionally, he has a range of experience within advisory services in the area of sectoral transition and ESG due diligence.
Tymur holds a Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (Ph. D.) from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and M.B.A. from MIM-Kyiv Business School. He completed additional studies at the Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business. He has lectured on econometric and statistics at Kyiv National Economic University and pro bono outreach on climate risk at Imperial College London.
