Director -VAT at Saffery Champness LLP

Nick is a Director in the VAT Advisory Team and advises a full range of clients including corporates, high net worth individuals, trusts and partnerships, on all aspects of VAT. Nick is an active member of internal Land and Rural Practice Group within Saffery Champness and its Estates Discussion Group, and regularly advises landed estates, agri-business and farmers, on their VAT position.

Day to day Nick advises clients on complex and high-value land and property related transactions as well as assisting clients with maximising VAT opportunities within their supply chains. As well as advising stakeholders in the rural and landed estates sectors, he also advises clients operating in manufacturing, financial services, and e-commerce.

Nick regularly presents at events, both internally and externally.

Nick’s VAT career spans 19 years during which time he has been a VAT audit officer at HMRC as well as having 15 years advising businesses and families on a consulting basis.
