Autumn NorrisLead Researcher and Innovation Coach, Chick-fil-A, Inc. at Virtual speaker
As a consumer researcher and strategist, Autumn has spent her career helping teams throughout the Creative Problem Solving process by better defining their problem, understanding their audience, and ideating alongside. She became an Innovation Coach at Chick-fil-A two years ago and has since been able to consult on the innovation process and facilitate multiple Understand and Imagine sessions. She has also co-created and facilitated a series of workshops with Leo Chan that help people feel what innovation is like and provide tools for tapping into innovation mindsets.
Autumn spends a lot of time as a beginner by pursuing new creative endeavors she is curious about (and oftentimes terrified of), and she loves encouraging others to pursue their curiosities and embrace the beginner’s journey as well. A longstanding creative pursuit of hers is trying to create art out of sugar in new and unique ways. Some of her favorite creations involve making portraits of friends and family on cakes using only sprinkles. These Face Cakes are a constant reminder that creativity is about the journey, and they serve as great practice in letting go of expectations and perfection throughout the process.
