Cory Sorice

Cory Sorice has served as senior vice president and chief innovation officer of Masonite since August 2019. With over 25 years of product development, innovation and general management experience, Cory spearheads a dynamic, growth-oriented team delivering industry leading products and unrivaled R&D initiatives.

Prior to his role at Masonite, Cory served as vice president and general manager of emerging business for Chamberlain Group, Inc., a world leader in garage, gate and commercial door access. Cory has also held leadership roles at Stanley Black & Decker Corporation, Newell Rubbermaid, market research firm Information Resources, Inc., and co-founded Invequity, LLC, a transfer and patent licensing company.

Cory is a named inventor on fourteen U.S. patents in home automation and access controls. He earned his MBA from Northwestern University, BS in Accounting from Miami University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
