A unique opportunity to share your experiences and present your case study

The regional and the international FIDIC Contract Users’ Conferences are designed for the user, by the user.

This year we are giving our dedicated FIDIC users the opportunity to share their experience of using FIDIC Conditions of Contract. This session would suit users with specific experience of the FIDIC Forms, as we invite you to share your valuable findings with the audience. Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this new platform for networking and knowledge sharing and if you are selected you will receive 50% off your conference ticket.

To volunteer as a speaker, please follow the admission procedures and deadlines described here, consisting of two levels:

FIRST LEVEL – Preliminary Submission and Evaluation
Please submit all relevant information to by Tuesday 15th October including:

– Speaker candidate’s name, company affiliation, job title, qualification(s) title(s) and short bio (optional).

– Basic case study information including:

  1. Name/type of the project, timing, location and current status
  2. Candidate’s involvement/role in the project
  3. Value of the project
  4. Indication of the FIDIC Model Form under which the project was/is run
  5. Intended number of slides/length of presentation
  6. Foreseeable lesson(s) or conclusions – in the form of no more than 10 sentences (half an A4 age) summary

– In case of academic research or scientific papers/studies, the following information should be submitted:

  1. Title/brief description of the research/scientific examination/study, timing, location and current status
  2. Candidate’s involvement
  3. Indication of the FIDIC Model Form(s), to which the research was/is run
  4. Intended number of slides/length of presentation
  5. Lesson(s) or conclusions – in the form of no more than 10 sentences (half an A4 age) summary/proceedings.

Based on first level screening, a shortlist of qualified presentation submissions will be invited to the second level.

SECOND LEVEL – Submission and Final Evaluation
Accepted case studies  will be invited to submit their full presentation for final admission.

– Submission of the intended presentation draft itself – together with other intended papers (for inclusion in the conference booklet) by Monday 11th November 

Judges do not guarantee acceptance, nor feedback, on the submissions in either of the judgement levels.

The judging panel will consist of one FIDIC Board Representative, one FIDIC Contract Committee Representative, one FIDIC Secretariat representative and one KNect365 Law representative.
