Levent Irmak is a Civil Engineer with MSc degree in construction management and Founder and Managing Director of MC2 MODERN International Construction Consulting. He started his career in the United States and has been currently acting as contracts and claims consultant and dispute resolver, and actively assisting construction companies, employers and project owners, engineering and law firms in projects with a total value of over 10 billion USD with over 22 years of experience in contracts and claims management and dispute resolution. Amongst some prestigious projects he was involved are the Central Artery/Tunnel Project (a/k/a the Big Dig with over 15 Billion USD value) in Boston, USA and the Bosphorus Strait Railway Tunnel Project (a/k/a the Marmaray Project with over 3 Billion USD value) in Istanbul, Turkey. As an accredited FIDIC trainer, he regularly trains on FIDIC contracts and on international contract and claims management practices. He has been acting as Dispute Adjudication Board (DAB) member (both sole and 3-member), Expert Witness in international arbitration cases (both as tribunal-appointed and party-appointed) and Contract Advisor in various construction projects in various countries in Europe, Middle East, Africa, the Caucasus, and Asia.
