Hourn ThyHead of Operations at SME Finance Forum
Hourn Thy is Head of operations of the SME Finance Forum, an IFC-managed G20 initiative that brings together banks, development finance institutions, and fintech companies to exchange knowledge and good practices, to promote business partnership and collaboration as well as to spur innovation in SME finance. Hourn’s successfully managed a $22-million G20 SME finance challenge program that provides performance-based grants to 14 most innovative businesses. Hourn has over 20 years’ experiences in business development, SME capacity building and financial sector development. Prior to joining the SME Finance Forum, he managed the IFC Access to Finance program in Cambodia and Lao PDR. He has a Masters degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Ecôle Supérieure de Commerce de Paris in France and in International Business Management from the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand.
