Head of Payments and Domestic Cash Management at Intesa Sanpaolo

Giancarlo is Head of Payments and Domestic Cash Management at Intesa Sanpaolo.

After more than 10 years spent within Direct Channels in Intesa Sanpaolo, in 2014 he moved away from Intesa to join the startup of the digital only bank Widiba (100% owned by Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena) as Head of Banking, Service & Payments.

In 2016 he came back in Intesa Sanpaolo first as Strategical Payments projects leader (such as RT1, PSD2 program and Open Banking initiatives), and after one year, he took the Head of domestic payments and cash management product development within Global Transaction Banking Unit.

Starting from July 2019 he has also been appointed as member of CBI s.c,p.a. board of directors.
