Paolo is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities aimed at ensuring a high level Customer Experience for Clients and Brokers who rely on Generali for their Corporate insurance coverage. To do this, among other things he manages Policy Issuing & Administration, takes care of the relationship with the main external business partners, lead innovation and change initiatives and look after collections.

Paolo joins GC&C in 2015 to lead the re-engineering of the italian Operations of the brand new business unit, that he revolutionized by implementing a new operating model based on a closer relationship with brokers and customers). As a professional, he matured his skills during 25 years of successful experiences in large international leading companies in the Financial Services industry such as Intesa, BNP, Bertlesmann, Barclays and AIG

In these contexts, Paolo played roles of increasing responsibility in Finance, Sales & Distribution, Marketing & Communication, Operations and Internal Audit, travelling worldwide and getting familiar with all the most important corporate cultures.

His main specialization consists in the realignment of operational areas to corporate strategies, through the improvement of operational efficiency and the empowerment of human assets. In this particular business, he has achieved many notable successes, often being recognized for the contribution made to corporate profitability. Thanks to these initiatives, He has been awarded twice as a corporate "Best Innovator", and in 2020 AIFIN appointed Paolo as "Financial Innovation Ambassador" in Italy for his activity of spreading the culture of innovation.

Paolo is often invited as a speaker at international financial conferences and have published articles on management and change issues both in specialized journals and on the Internet. He is a graduate in Economics and Business with a Master in Business Administration, and collaborates with some universities in projects concerning managerial behaviors.

Married without children, he speaks three languages and in his spare time loves to devote himself to writing, cooking and tennis, which he is practicing and passionate about.
