Natalie LuuPartner at Lightspeed Venture Partners
Natalie joined Lightspeed in 2018 as a Partner and leads investments in early and growth-stage startups, with a focus on Enterprise and FinTech. Natalie was actively involved in making Lightspeed’s investments in Epic Games, Finix, Shipper, Seismic, and ezCater, as well as follow-on investments in BetterUp, TripActions, and Blend Labs. Natalie has empathy for founders having experienced entrepreneurship first-hand. Natalie began her career as an early-stage investor at Y Combinator. She was tapped by YC Co-founder Jessica Livingston in 2013 to establish the sourcing framework for founders in university ecosystems when YC batches were 30 companies in size. Before her career in VC, Natalie served as an investment banker, growth equity investor, and product manager which contributed to her helping build Lightspeed’s foundation for evaluating growth-stage investments. Natalie worked at Qatalyst Partners, where she executed multi-billion-dollar tech M&A transactions. Natalie also spent time at Accel-KKR, where she sourced software growth equity investments, and at Microsoft as a Product Manager for Outlook and OneDrive.
