Julien Le GocDirector of Policy at Diem Association
Julien Le Goc is the Director of Policy for the Diem Association (formerly Libra Association), a newly-formed organization that has brought together social impact organizations and a diverse group of leading businesses from around the world to enable universal access to financial services. In this role, Julien helps lead policy efforts and stakeholder engagement for the Association.
Julien comes to the Diem Association with two decades of experience in risk management, bank regulation and finance, most recently at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). At the onset of the great recession, Julien joined the FDIC and led risk management and internal review activities supporting key operational areas. As the economy recovered, Julien joined the FDIC's Chief Information Officer in a leadership role. Prior to the FDIC, Julien worked in a Big Four management consulting firm leading enterprise risk management strategic engagements with large enterprises around the world and U.S. Federal government clients. He has lived and worked in Europe and the United States.
Julien is a graduate of the Kogod School of Business and holds an MSc. in Finance from the American University in Washington D.C. Julien is a recurring guest lecturer for business and international management courses at the American University.
