Amar leads proprietary trading activities in Natural Gas, European Power, and Emissions for AOT Energy; a division of global commodity merchant Arrow Resources Group. Prior to Arrow, Amar was Chief Investment Officer for the European Energy strategy at hedge fund Sarkis, and before that he spent 7 years as a commodity derivatives trader for Citigroup in London. Amar started his professional career in 2001 in the US as a research analyst covering mining and utilities companies. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst ® (CAIA ®) designation.
