Dirk Jan Meuzelaar is an economist with almost 40 years’ experience in the energy industry from different angles e.g. Ministry of Economic Affairs; Energie Beheer Nederland (shareholder of Gasunie), Royal DSM and Utility Support Group (USG) BV, the energy service provider for Chemelot which is the largest Dutch Chemical site. His focus is on the European and Dutch energy and industry transition, representing the energy intensive industry in several regulatory advisory forums on the production, transport and consumption of natural gas and low carbon gases including hydrogen. Moreover he is an active member of the Dutch and European Standardisation bodies and EASEE-gas as far as gas quality is concerned.
