Erik Suichies has 25 years of experience in the energy sector. He has studied Business Economics at the University of Amsterdam and was active as a consultant during the first years of energy liberalization to support companies with energy procurement. In 2002 he joined Vattenfall and held different management positions, including heading the B2B customer business in the Netherlands. In the past 5 years, he is responsible for wholesale and origination for all Vattenfall markets. This includes 10 GW of PPA business with 3rd party wind- and solar developers, Corporate PPAs with industrial customers and expanding flexibility service to stabilize the electricity grid
