Fabienne WazHSE Manager at Total Gas and Power North America
Fabienne Waz is HSE Manager for Total Gas and Power North America. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all Health, Safety and Environment matters in relation with LNG, liquid Sulphur, dry bulk (petcoke and sulphur) and LPG activities. She is involved in various safety and security committees gathering the various US-based Total branches. Fabienne Waz began her career in the UK as a process engineer and then spent most of her career in the LNG sector, in various positions along the value chain. She started as a Research Engineer for ENGIE where she was in charge of research projects focusing on regasification and liquefaction plants. Then she moved to the LNG Business Unit where she conducted technical reviews on emerging projects, in team with the Business Development. She also acted as peer reviewer on matters related to liquefaction plants costs estimations and safety studies. This led to her role as Engineering Support Manager for Global LNG North America from 2015 to 2021. In a non-operating and minority shareholder role, Waz monitored the performance of the Cameron LNG project from an Investor and Customer perspective. Her scope covered HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment), EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) performance by the EPC Contractor, permitting, ready for operations and operations aspects of the Cameron LNG project.
