Monica CaamanoDirector at Alcazar
Monica represents Alcazar, a research and analysis company involved in identifying disruptive opportunities throughout the carbon neutrality pathways. She specializes in monetizing opportunities in climate change, renewables generation, hydrogen ecosystem, energy storage, energy distribution and electrification. Monica’s experience encompasses research and development of data-intensive quantitative models, as well as portfolio management – including analysis, implementing proprietary trading strategies and risk management. She has a PhD in Nuclear Physics, a bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences and a master’s degree in Radiation and Environmental Protection. She is co-author of “Systematic Trading in Energy Markets”, a book published by Risk.
