Texas LNG is a 4 MTA US LNG export project under development in South Texas, USA. The Texas LNG project has received its key regulatory permits, including the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approval and Department of Energy export authorizations. Texas LNG is aiming to complete its remaining pre-FID engineering over the next 12 months, and to begin construction in late 2021 / early 2022. First LNG production will be in 2025. Texas LNG's key attributes are its flexible low-cost commercial model, access to low-cost Permian basin gas, and its realistic size ideally suited for emerging and established markets.
