Course Overview

With water scarcity being a threat that is becoming increasingly apparent, we are under growing pressure to identify ways to reuse and recycle the water have available. This is where wastewater treatment can be of value.

Forming part of New AG Academy's Best Practices for Product Application within Agriculture Series, this 9 module course will focus on the processes required for water and wastewater treatment and will delve into topics such as quality criteria for different water uses (potable water, irrigation water, water reuse and more), as well as the characteristics of the different water sources -  surface water, groundwater, wastewater. By the end of the course, participants will have a deep understanding of fundamental techniques and will be equipped to advise on water treatment processes.
