Alex Birkin is a partner of EY, where he is the Wealth and Asset Management EMEIA Industry Leader and Global Advisory leader.  He is responsible for all of the services EY delivers to the wealth management, asset management, alternatives and asset servicing sectors in EMEIA and for the consulting services globally.

Alex joined EY in 1997, became a partner in 2005 and has been advising the wealth and asset management industry for over 18 years.  Alex has experience in number of advisory disciplines including strategy, business model transformation, transaction integration growth strategies, cost reduction, regulatory driven business change and risk management.  

Alex’s clients include global and boutique asset managers, private banks, wealth managers, hedge funds and securities services providers based in EMEIA, Asia and the US.
