Profile

Jeff is a seasoned creative leader and team builder, specializing in design, content and production. He possesses a proven track record of success providing thought leadership for Fortune 500 brands, as well as the burgeoning digital startup community. He is currently President at 1117 Productions, helping produce and launch purpose-driven programming and platforms.

Most recently, he joined Kimberly-Clark in the role of Vice President Global Creative, Design and Content. Jeff served as the leader to the Kimberly-Clark creative and design community around the world, drawing on his extensive background and expertise to strengthen the effectiveness of Kimberly-Clark creative in a digital world through a consumer-centric approach.

Prior to joining K-C, Brecker led R/GA Chicago, where he oversaw the development of multiple new global service offerings including their brand artificial intelligence practice. He also served as Senior Vice President at Leo Burnett, providing strategic leadership in the interactive and digital space, and Partner, Director of Interactive Production at Ogilvy & Mather. Since entering the industry in the mid-90s, Jeff has been recognized well beyond his digital roots. He's not only won Webbys, Addys, Andys, Effies, and Pencils, but the industry's top award: the Cannes Grand Prix.

Jeff lives in Highland Park with his wife, 12-year old daughter and two rescue dogs (Eddie & Al). He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he studied advertising and marketing. He’s been online since 1987, when he bought his first modem, and he hasn’t been offline since.
