Gabriela McCoy is obsessed with discovering how brands create an emotional connection with humans. She has 20+ years of global consumer insights experience working in top-tier companies in spirits, food, and FMCG researching everything from booze to burgers to condoms and dishwashing soap.

At Bacardi, the world’s largest privately held spirits company, Gabriela helps deliver a fearless and unconventional human-centric approach and inspiring vision for iconic brands, including BACARDÍ rum, PATRÓN tequila, GREY GOOSE vodka, and BOMBAY SAPPHIRE gin.

Prior to Bacardi, she worked at Burger King and Reckitt Benckiser. Gabriela has an International MBA from the University of Miami and completed studies at Oxford University in England and at Ecole L’Etoile in France.

A Venezuelan-born, single-mom of two boys, Gabriela spends most of her weekends kayaking, fishing and planning for the next stamp on her passport as suffers from a severe case of wanderlust.
