Jim BoucherDirector - Corporate Real Estate at Delta Air Lines
Jim Boucher is Director, Hub Development and Latin America in Corporate Real Estate for Delta Air Lines. In this role, he is responsible for leases and airport charges for all airports that Delta flies to in Latin America and his team is responsible for negotiating leases for space needed at the airport and in country and also responsible for any construction that may be required to renovate Delta’s leased space at these international airports. He is also responsible for airports where Delta currently has major hub development projects; LAX, SEA, SLC, LGA and JFK. Jim has also worked closely with IATA over the last 10+ years on numerous international campaigns.
Jim began his career at Delta in 2001 in Finance where he was responsible for providing financial services to support Delta’s Technical Operations division. In 2003, he transitioned to Corporate Real Estate with responsibility for divisional financial services. In 2004, he transitioned to a new role within Delta’s corporate real estate team, overseeing real estate matters for all international airports and off-airport properties. Over the last 15 years, Jim and his international team have successfully opened over 40 new airport premises for Delta. In 2014, Jim took over the newly-created hub development team, focusing on lease negotiations and airport relationships at all Delta hub locations involved in major construction projects. Jim works closely with IATA and the airport community to develop better relationships between airlines and airports.
