Mike Minerva is vice president – Government and Airport Affairs. He is responsible for lobbying efforts and relationships with state and local governments and with business communities nationwide. He handles airport affairs in New York; Philadelphia; Washington, D.C.; Charlotte, North Carolina; Miami; Chicago and Boston, as well as Europe, Asia and Canada.
Mike has more than 20 years of aviation industry experience. After three years in private law practice, he started his airline career in 1994 as vice president – Human Resources for Piedmont Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of US Airways Group, Inc. at that time. In 1999, he joined US Airways as director – Labor Relations and subsequently held the position of vice president and deputy general counsel. Most recently, he was vice president – Legal and Government Affairs for US Airways.
Mike earned a Juris Doctor from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree from Lake Forest College.
