John GreenPresident & COO at TBI AM
Mr. Green is the President of TBI Airport Management, Inc. (TBI AM) and is responsible for the operating locations in North America, as well as new business development in the U.S. Mr. Green is based in Atlanta where he also serves as General Manager of the TBI AM operation at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport where TBI AM manages and operates all City of Atlanta Department of Aviation common use facilities, including the International Terminal Complex (including 40 international gates at Concourses E & F).
Mr. Green began his airport management career in 1980 with Lockheed Air Terminal, Inc. (LAT) in Atlanta after working in Delta Air Lines’ College Management Program during undergraduate school. As LAT evolved into Airport Group International, Inc. and then subsequently acquired by TBI plc in 1999, Mr. Green’s responsibilities evolved and grew along with the company.
In 2005 TBI was acquired by abertis (based in Barcelona). TBI was then acquired as part of the Airports Worldwide portfolio by OMERS Infrastructure in 2013 and then again by VINCI Airports in 2018. VINCI Airports, the leading private airport operator in the world, is now in 52 airports worldwide, including controlling interest at the London Gatwick Airport.
In addition to his role in Atlanta and the U.S. locations, Mr. Green was instrumental in the privatization by AGI of the Australian airports and the successful long-term lease project at the London Luton Airport. Mr. Green was involved in the due diligence process on both projects, as well as providing operational and organizational leadership during the transition from the public sector to private management.
At the present time, Mr. Green is the corporate point of contact for all TBI AM operating locations and business opportunities in the U.S. while supporting new parent company, VINCI Airports on the emerging P3 interest by U.S. municipalities and Authorities.
