Marlon SmithManaging Partner at JLC Infrastructure
Marlon Smith is a managing partner of JLC and a member of the investment committee. Prior to forming JLC, Mr. Smith was a managing director of Loop Capital Markets and head of infrastructure advisory and finance. Previously, Mr. Smith worked on mergers and acquisitions transactions as a vice president with Goldman Sachs and, prior thereto, as an associate with Lehman Brothers. He began his career as a certified public accountant with Arthur Andersen.
Over the course of the last 18 years, Mr. Smith has executed numerous transactions involving many well-knowncompanies and governments entities. His experience includes work on acquisitions, divestitures, public-privatepartnerships, restructurings, and debt and equity financings involving assets and companies across a broad range of industry sectors including airports, transit, parking, utilities and telecommunications. Mr. Smith received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
