Isaiah Massey is the Founder and Managing Partner of Fund Services Group focusing on the growth of team members, cultivating and developing client relationships, and driving innovation and improvement of firm processes. Isaiah serves as the Chief Financial Officer for FSG clients, where he focuses on the delivery of our Financial, Compliance and Regulatory operations services. He is also on their executive level committees.
Prior to FSG, Isaiah served as Managing Director - Chief Financial Officer at CAZ Investments. While at CAZ he was responsible for financial, legal, regulatory, HR, recruiting, and vendor management. Under his leadership, the firm increased, in total alternative assets under management, from $300mm to over $1.2bn. He structured and launched over 40 private funds with various complexities and strategies, and successfully managed multiple funds from launch to liquidation.
Before his role at CAZ Investments, Isaiah served as the Chief Financial and Chief Compliance Officer at Stratfor, a geopolitical intelligence firm, and he began his career as an auditor with Deloitte and Touché.
Isaiah is a frequent speaker at industry events focused on compliance, structuring, and operational efficiencies for private funds and their managers. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wichita State University with a B.B.A in Accounting, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a Master's in Public Accounting.
Isaiah and his wife, Hope, are proud parents of two sons, Ridge and Kruz. Most of his free time is spent with their young sons as they construct fanciful forts in the backyard, hone their skills at catching the various critters found in the Houston fauna, and develop their work ethic doing home construction projects.
