Emily Agnew
Manager of Operational Business Risk at Meketa Group


Ms. Agnew joined Meketa Investment Group in 2018. Ms. Agnew received both an undergraduate and graduate degree from Drexel University and earned the CFA designation in 2004. Ms. Agnew is a member of the CFA Society of Boston, CFA Institute, and 100 Women in Finance.

As Manager of Operational Business Risk, Ms. Agnew is responsible for the design and implementation of the firm’s Operational Due Diligence (“ODD”) process across both public and private markets and serves as a subject matter expertise on ODD for internal Meketa staff, clients, and prospects. Ms. Agnew also works closely with the public and private markets research teams to help source new investment opportunities, conduct investment research, and monitor existing client investments.

Prior to joining Meketa Investment Group, Ms. Agnew was a member of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s business consulting team where she served as a director. In this capacity, Ms. Agnew worked closely with hedge funds across their life cycle (start-up, growth, and mature) to help ensure they were operating with best practices. She also served as a director of business risk management at Cambridge Associates, conducting operational due diligence on hedge fund, long-only, and private equity managers. Ms. Agnew began her career in Philadelphia working as a sales assistant for PaineWebber before transitioning to the alternative investment field in 2003.
