Ms. Lavelle leads the finance and operations functions at Flight Deck Capital. Prior to joining Flight Deck Capital, Ms. Lavelle served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for Tenzing Global, an equity long/short TMT and consumer focused fund based in San Francisco. Prior to joining Tenzing Global, Ms. Lavelle served as the Chief Financial Officer for Dalton Investments, an SEC registered global investment management firm with a focus in Asian equities. Before joining the hedge fund industry, Ms. Lavelle was an Accounting Manager at Colony Capital LLC, a private equity firm based in Los Angeles, and started her career at KPMG LLP as an auditor in the alternative asset sector. Ms. Lavelle holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA (Hons.) from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a CFA charterholder.
