Lorelei Graye is founder and CEO of the 2019-launched nonprofit trade organization, the ADS Initiative Inc1, a cross-collaboration in the private capital markets. With the publication of a 2015 CEM study2, Lorelei’s work on the LP-side first reached a global audience where she spearheaded the development of a first of its kind, intensive collection and validation process to capture comprehensive investment costs and carried interest across the state retirement system’s portfolio. Today, Lorelei is an oft-cited expert and thought leader who consults some of the largest private capital market stakeholders globally on strategic management, operations, communications, and reporting needs while still finding time to contribute pro bono expertise to important industry efforts and private equity participants. An architect of the 2016 ILPA Template3, Lorelei continues to be a spokesperson to promote the larger benefits of coalescing GP and LP needs behind common standards to achieve greater efficiency for all stakeholders in private capital markets.
