Flurin GrondDeputy CIO at Progressive Capital
Flurin joined Progressive Capital in 2017 after spending 5 years as Portfolio Manager at the Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund ADIA, where he focused on alternative equity strategies in the hedge fund group. Prior, Flurin worked 10 years as a Portfolio Manager at Man Group (RMF) in the Equity Hedge and Global Macro section in Man Group’s London and Switzerland office. Before joining Man Group in 2002, Flurin spent 9 years in equity trading and derivatives market making. For 3 years he was working for Bank Vontobel, trading Swiss equities and equity options. Previously, he worked on the international derivatives desk at Credit Suisse advising on portfolio hedging strategies. Flurin also spent 5 years trading G7 and emerging markets equities for UBS in Zurich.
Flurin holds an MBA (with distinction) from the Strathclyde University Glasgow, and he is a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) as well as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
