Has a Master’s in Sciences and he graduated as a Pharmaceutical Chemist Biologist at the Chemistry Faculty of the National Autonomous University of México (UNAM)
He´s been an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Chemistry Faculty at UNAM; Visiting professor at public and private universities regarding issues of health regulation, clinical research, pharmacovigilance, among others. Adviser in written work via continuing education courses and synodal of professional examinations for the Chemistry Faculty at UNAM
Mexico´s Spokesperson in the Pharmaceutical Group at the Business Council of the Pacific Alliance and representative of the National Pharmaceutical Industry Chamber (CANIFARMA) at the United States Pharmacopeia Convention. He has lectured at the Meeting of Competent Authorities in Medicines for Ibero-American Countries, the Institute of Public Health of Chile and the Union of the Pharmaceutical Products Industry of the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Mr. Flores is a distinguished Member of the CNQFB AC, also member at the Mexican Association of Pharmacovigilance (AMFV) where he´s been appointed as Advisor, member of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance, the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) were he is also a Founding Member of the Mexico Chapter of the society.
He has been appointed as an Expert for the Committee of the Generalities chapter in the Mexican Pharmacopoeia.
Mr. Flores Collaborates with publications like: “Diálogo Ejecutivo” (Executive Dialogue magazine) writing the column “Regulacion en la Industria Farmacéutica” (Regulation for the Pharmaceutical Industry) and “Mundo Farma” (Pharma World magazine) writing the column “Industria Farmacéutica: Innovación y Regulación” (Pharmaceutical Industry: Innovation and Regulation).
He has worked as Planning Analyst and Production Supervisor at Schering Ploug, Standards Coordinator and Pharmaceutical Director at CANIFARMA. Mr. Flores is currently the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Innovation at CANIFARMA
