Chris ChewHead of Export Control Policy at Department for International Trade, Export Control Joint Unit
Chris is currently Head of Export Control Policy in the Department for International Trade, a post he has held since May 2009. He has responsibility for the statutory and regulatory framework of UK export controls and for the Department’s input to international export control-related discussions. Before becoming a civil servant Chris spent 14 years in the private sector. He has a distant memory of having obtained a degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering.
