Anne Marie Griffin is Director Regulatory Affairs in the Worldwide Tax & Trade team at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington. At Microsoft, she is responsible for thought leadership in managing trade policy trends and threats, including influencing new legislation and regulation to mitigate risks to the existing trade benefits, optimizing competitive advantage for Microsoft cloud business models and future market opportunities, and minimizing regulatory impact of export control laws.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Ms. Griffin was Senior Consultant at MK Technology, an export compliance consulting firm specializing in the high technology sector, in Washington, DC. Ms. Griffin was the Washington Representative for Acer Inc. of Taiwan.
Ms. Griffin served at the U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Export Administration in the Exporter Counseling, Special Licensing and Review and Compliance Branches. Ms. Griffin’s previous industry experience includes Manager of Federal Affairs for Eaton Corporation. She graduated from Georgetown University.
Ms. Griffin has the pleasure of serving on the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Regulations and Procedures Technical Advisory Committee.
