During his career in the Finance Sector, Alan Power held various senior positions in Learning & Development and HR Management. In addition, he also held the position of general manager of a U.K. Mortgage company (a company he set up) where his dedication to Quality Management practices – Lean & Six Sigma – and Service Excellence resulted in him being the recipient of several business awards.

During his career he has also been involved in judging business awards for the European Foundation for Quality Management, the British Quality Foundation and Quality Scotland (for whom he has been a member of the awards judging panel.)
