Caroline Hudson
Chief Organizational Development Officer at Abu Dhabi Health Services Company – SEHA

Profile

Caroline Hudson is passionate about transforming businesses through people.  As a winner of the Chief Learning Officer (CLO) Global Learning in Practice Vanguard Award and a National Telstra Business Women’s Awards finalist, her approach to planning and preparing for workforces of the future has ensured the delivery of key organisational goals in both public and private sectors, across a broad spectrum of industries.  These have included health, transport, construction, land management and hospitality.

Caroline’s internationally recognised and award winning approach to transforming systems to attract, manage and retain talented people has also been successful at state and national levels in Australia.  Current and past employers, including one of Australia’s largest employers, have benefited from her ability to build and inspire a team capable of driving significant cultural and business change.  This has been achieved in her many and varied senior roles in strategic planning, corporate services, human resources, organisation development and corporate communications.

In 2014, Caroline established a formal affiliation between a large Queensland based health service and the Harvard, Centre for Medical Simulation; one of only three affiliations outside the USA; becoming renowned for delivering best practice, evidenced based simulation across Australia.

Caroline enjoys building simple but elegant online business solutions. In 2009, she led collaboration of the national catholic health and aged care network, launching a web-based tool (www.nursethenation.com.au) designed to attract nurses and midwives to health and aged care facilities across Australia.  She later launched another exciting web hosted tool (www.spotapp.com.au) for undergraduate clinical student placements available nationally across Australia.

Commencing in late October 2019 at SEHA – Abu Dhabi’s public health service provider, Caroline is excited about the significant transformation work that has begun at SEHA.   It includes partnering with Abu Dhabi’s new Artificial Intelligence University; the first of its kind globally; as well as gearing up for the largest genome sequencing program ever undertaken, in partnership with the AI University and Group 42.
