Khaled’s experience spans almost 30 years with major multinationals, with specialization in HR and People Development in the last 17 years. He held HR Manager generalist positions, as well as roles in L&D and Career Development, Talent and Performance Management. He set up and managed a global corporate academy, led change projects in Performance Management, Competence Management and Assurance and strategic HR function realignment.
Khaled led the roll-out of corporate programs that significantly contributed to workforce nationalization and capability building in the region. He worked as a consultant, coach and facilitator delivering solutions to customers in GCC and internationally. He led programs in Agile Project Management, upskilling the management capability at a major retailer, setting up strategy and corporate value framework for a start-up, as well as a variety of assessment and teaching activities with government entities.
With extensive geographical exposure, having worked in numerous locations in Europe, Africa and Asia, Khaled eventually settled in MENA. He has been both the customer and service provider, within Western and Oriental cultures and within multigenerational, diverse teams. He held leadership positions in complex matrix organizations. He co-authored and rolled out several people development strategies and initiatives in Oman and Iraq. He believes that combining a technical background with a depth of HR experience allows additional insights and in-depth understanding of business issues and where HR value makes maximum impact.
Presently, Khaled’s main focus is delivering customized performance improvement solutions for specific customer needs. These may encompass Learning, Coaching, Reorganizing and Optimizing Organizational effectiveness among others. The ultimate goal is always assuring the delivery of value and exceeding the expectations of the customer.
