First Lieutenant Alya Waheed AlSarkal, ACC is Director of Learning Branch at the HR Department at Sharjah Police Headquarters, United Arab Emirates. First Lieutenant Alya created the Positive Coaching Initiative that aimed to create and implement the coaching culture in Sharjah Police.

The initiative started with preparing and qualifying the first batch of internal coaches and qualifying senior officers and leaders with coaching skills. This initiative succeeded in raising the UAE Happiness KPIs and creating a coaching policy for the organization.

In addition, First Lieutenant Alya aims to share and implement the Sharjah Police coaching journey with the Ministry of the Interior and other government institutions.
