As Vice President of ICF, Professional Coaches, Steve Weiss brings a background of more than 25 years of experience in association management, business development, marketing, and revenue maximization.
Steve has held positions of leadership, with responsibility for global development and revenue generation, at a variety of professional associations including the Institute of Management Accountants, the Financial Planning Association, and Finseca, an association of financial security professionals.
Steve was also the CEO of the Shop Environments Association, a trade association representing firms that design and build physical retail environments.
After early career success developing student athletes as a college football coach, and prior to working with associations, Steve was also formerly the Executive Director of The Festival Group, with production responsibility for more than 25 entertainment events during his tenure that each drew greater than 100,000 patrons.
Steve holds a B.A. degree in English from Bucknell University, a Masters degree in Educational Psychology and Statistics from the University at Albany, and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE)
