Susan is a Global Human Resources Leader with over 24 years of experience with blue-chip organizations in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East across industries such as aviation, public health, manufacturing, automotive and construction with responsibility for strategic and operational HR.

She has global experience across EMEA, APAC and Americas managing short term operational HR needs whilst driving large scale transformation and change programs in organisations with up to 47,000 employees, in 80 countries worldwide.

In her current capacity as Group HR and Administration Director for Nasser Bin Khaled Al Thani and Sons Holding Company (“NBK”), she is wholly responsible for all aspects of the HR function across 13 companies within the Holding Company.

A self-confessed, Fixer! Who loves a good problem or puzzle. Susan has built her career applying that mindset and developing the ability to balance the need to get stuck in and problem solve with the capacity to step back and strategically plan for future longer-term change programmes.

As a leader, Susan believes in the power of connections! She embraces her natural instincts to lead with empathy and considers it a strength. She is devoted to the philosophy that kindness, hard work, gratitude, loyalty, and laughter are the keys to the kingdom of professional growth and happiness.
