Asset Securitisation
This unique Asset Securitisation course provides a highly detailed practical overview of this market covering the basic structures of RMBS, credit cards, auto loans and CMBS through to CLOs and the use of more advanced structured products which are used in the market. The programme includes the origination, structuring, pricing and trading of these instruments together with the rating process and an overview of the cashflow modelling of the transactions.
Corporate Credit Risk Analysis
The training will be conducted in the style of an interactive workshop, packed with practical activities. Delegates will use case studies to analyse a typical credit approach, to identify credit problems and business risk issues. Delegates will use excel to model corporate cashflows, model projections and analyse the risk factors. In groups, delegates will get the opportunity to calculate a company’s optimum leverage and debt capacity and analyse the credit risk of a proposed acquisition.

This course focuses on documentation used in corporate loans, both bilateral and syndicated, including security and guarantee documentation, and the implications of insolvency on the contractual rights of the senior creditors. Delegates will be guided step-by-step through the various components of loan documentation from indicative offer letters, loan agreements, guarantees, letters of comfort, mortgage debentures (fixed and floating charges) to security over other forms of asset, including property, shares and insurance assignments.
