Bryan Esterly, CFA serves as an Executive Technical Director for the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) at the IFRS Foundation. In this role, Bryan leads the ISSB technical staff in its execution and delivery of the ISSB’s work plan in line with the priorities set out by the ISSB. Bryan joined the IFRS Foundation as a result of the merger with the Value Reporting Foundation (previously the SASB Foundation), where he served in various leadership and other capacities since 2015. Prior to his work in sustainability standard-setting, Bryan worked in the financial risk management industry, most recently serving as Vice President with Aon’s Financial Services Group. Bryan has degrees in Economics and Political Science and is a CFA charterholder.
