As an internationally recognized expert on Sustainability Context, Thriveability, and Online Stakeholder Engagement, Bill helps catalyze systemic transformation at global, portfolio, company, and community levels. A serial entrepreneur, he’s co-founder of a number of companies and initiatives: Reporting 3.0 (where he currently serves as Senior Director), ThriveAbility Foundation, Sustainability Context Group, Currnt, and Sea Change Radio. As a longtime advocate for thresholds & allocations, he played an initiatory role in creating the Science Based Targets initiative (where he continues to serve on the Technical Advisory Group) and leads Reporting 3.0’s incubation of the Global Thresholds & Allocations Council. He’s worked closely with organizations across the sustainability ecosystem, including AccountAbility, Audubon, Ceres, GE, Harvard, UNCTAD, UNEP, UN Global Compact, UNRISD, Walmart, and Worldwatch Institute. He has (co-)authored several e-books and major reports, including most recently the Transformation Journey Blueprint, New Business Models Blueprint, and Data Blueprint for Reporting 3.0.
