Paul was appointed an IIRC Ambassador in January 2017 to advocate for the strategic practices of integrated value creation thinking in the effective utilization of multi-capital resources in enhancing sustainable growth of the enterprise. Integrated Reporting <IR> is the trending corporate reporting framework globally that is also encoded in the Malaysian Code of Corporate Governance (MCCG 2017).
Paul has served on numerous Boards and Committees of Public Listed and Privately-Owned Companies, Regulatory Committees and not-for-profit Professional entities. He is the President and Co-Founder of MACD, a not-for-profit, independent, membership entity, Vice President I of FPLC, Executive Member of GNDI, an IIRC Ambassador, and an Advisory Board Member of FutureBoards SA, Oslo, Norway. He has delivered numerous presentations in forums, seminars, workshops and conferences locally and internationally, on issues relating to Board Governance, Corporate Directorship, Integrated Reporting, Business Continuity & Succession Planning. Paul is the President of Business Transitions Asia, a strategic business advisory firm.
A Chartered Accountant, a Fellow Member of, respectively, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA, UK), the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (FCIS, UK) and CPA Australia (FCPA), he is also an NACD Governance Fellow and NACD Board Leadership Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors, USA, and a Life-Member of Ascend Pinnacle Asian Corporate Directors, USA.
