Mary FaulknerProgram Manager at IQVIA
Mary Faulkner joins IQVIA with over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She began her career just as the newly created Pharma Code was issued. In her role in the Ethics & Compliance (OEC) organization, she collaborated with the Legal team to interpret the new Code, rewrite the company guidance, and educate thousands of internal personnel on the company’s accepted policies and procedures.
While a member of the OEC team, Mary began to focus on the grants and donations side of the business. As her expertise grew, she became the recognized subject matter expert for the process and execution of grants and donations activities across the organization, leading to the creation of the Grant Management Team.
As a senior leader of the Grant Management Team, Mary was responsible for the team’s strategic direction and operational execution, which included: defining, selecting, developing and implementing a grant management system; policy and procedure development and execution; and system measurement through annual audits and monitoring programs. With a keen knowledge and understanding of the business strategies and the role grant management plays in meeting company goals, Mary was given responsibility for the overall grant strategy for the company’s largest therapeutic area.
As a former pharmaceutical leader in grants and donations activities, Mary excelled at engaging with senior leaders in both the commercial and medical organizations, confidently discussing overall program support and relevant program outcomes. Additionally, she built and maintained strong relationships with industry thought leaders in both the continuing medical education, medical and patient advocacy communities.
As a super user of the IQVIA Request Management System, Mary brings years of experience, knowledge, and insights to IQVIA as we look at evolving our product.
