Sean Breuner is the Founder and CEO of AvantStay, a technology and experience-first hospitality brand that is redefining the way in which people travel today by offering short-term rentals tailored for groups. Breuner brings more than 15 years of expertise having previously founded several companies at the intersection of hospitality, real estate and technology. Prior to AvantStay, Breuner founded AvantSpace, a boutique neighborhood coworking space in San Francisco, which has been sold out since launch in Spring 2018. He also founded and served as a chairman for Generation SF, a non-profit charity focused on bringing generations of families together for a greater cause. Prior to that, Breuner served as Head of Growth at Heighten, a dynamic sales automation platform acquired by LinkedIn. Earlier in his career, Breuner was the Founder and CEO of two real estate companies, Pacific LMG which was acquired by Ghirardelli Property Group in 2010 and Coastal Realty which was acquired in 2011. He also was part of the Technology Media and Telecommunications investment banking group at Morgan Stanley, where he launched IPOs and advised on mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Breuner served as SVP of Real Estate Acquisitions and Business Development at BM Tonkin and was a Director of Real Estate Finance at RPM Mortgage. Breuner is an angel investor and operating advisor in disruptive finance and real estate businesses and holds several board positions. Breuner received a bachelor’s degree with honors in management science from the University of California, San Diego and a master’s degree from Columbia Business School with distinction.
