Anders Rox Hansen

Global Client Lead for Aladdin Sustainability at BlackRock

Anders Rox Hansen, Managing Director, is a member of BlackRock Solutions' Executive Management team and the Global Client Lead for Aladdin Sustainability. In his role Mr. Hansen is responsible for our client engagement, product and commercial offering across the Aladdin sustainable investing capabilities, including ESG and Climate Risk. Prior to this, Mr. Hansen was the Head of the Aladdin Client Engagement Group EMEA, responsible for the BlackRock Solutions team that provides the dedicated risk and financial technology solutions for the various investment management product lines offered by BlackRock in EMEA.

Mr Hansen's service with the firm dates back to 1994, including his years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. Post merger Mr Hansen was involved in establishing and building out the Aladdin business in Europe, including its Risk and Analytics capabilities as Head of the EMEA Client Analytics Group. At MLIM, Mr. Hansen was the EMEA Fixed Income Co-ordinator responsible for all non-investing functions reporting into the Fixed Income portfolio management group. In addition, he played a leading role on the integration team overseeing the merger of BlackRock and MLIM which was completed in October 2006. Prior to joining MLIM, he was the Chief Administrative Officer for the Benelux and Nordic Regions for Merrill Lynch International (MLI). He began his career in the financial markets in 1994 at Merrill Lynch International (MLI) in their Graduate Programme.

Mr. Hansen earned a BA degree, with honors, in European business & administration from the European Business School in London in 1994.
